Our flagship artist-in-residence program offers excellent local visual, literary, and performing artists space, time, and money to develop work. We emphasize risk and experimentation, and encourage artists to expand their practice. Each residency session is diverse in terms of the represented artistic media and the artists’ social backgrounds. The six-week long sessions include 24/7 private studio access and $2,000 stipends, and culminate in one-month exhibitions and/or showcases of non-visual work. Nine artists are selected for residencies each year. Ten non-selected applicants are offered one-month of 24/7 access to a project studio.
